Since the last post, my husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer, had the kidney removed, and seems to have recovered completely. The next appointment to review the scan is August 18. We are grateful beyond words that the recovery was quick and complete. At just the right time the perfect provisions were made.
The summer has been a good time for our family. I look out the back door and see the little pool sparkling and clear...well there may be a few bugs floating around. We have enjoyed playing in the pool and being out during this season. Always looking for time to be in the water.
We have also taken this time to prepare for the fall season. Out with the old and in with the new. There seems to always be an opportunity for a new beginning. As time goes on, we find that what really counts is not stored in the basement in a plastic container. As things are removed and rearranged, it becomes clear that seeing the beautiful souls that are around me are much more precious than peering through clear bins of stuff. There is no end to the amount of stuff we are surrounded by, but the ones who surround us may slip from our sight at any time.
I will look at them today. I have prayed for them today. I love them today and for all time.
I love this place!!!
Did you ever finish the back yard garden? I would love to see pictures!
